TurBaconEpic Thanksgiving – Epic Meal Time LITERAL World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Cinematic Trailer This week the birds and pigs from Angry Birds finally decided to sit down and make peace. You can see the results of the negotiations behind the jump. Also this week, a few folks with a little extra cash on their hands decided to make the most epic Thanksgiving meal they could think of, and I lost count halfway through of how many animals they used. At least they shared with their friends. So the birds and the pigs finally settle down and try to negotiate a settlement. The implications could very well be the end to a conflict that has cost businesses millions of dollars in productivity and managed to entertain people for thousands of hours during commutes, flights, and train rides. Sadly, the treaty negotiations don’t go quite as planned, as this video with well over 1.5 million views shows us. AdChoices广告 “Firewall” – SNES Style FF4 ‘Evil Wall Battle’ Parody Sliding Cars in Seattle Snow on 11/22/10 Angry Birds Peace Treaty Last week was a big deal to World of Warcraft players – the groundwork for the next big expansion, Cataclysm, was laid in a patch that players downloaded this week. When they logged in, they encountered a brand new in-game world that had been significantly changed. It seemed like a good opportunity for Tobuscus, maker of dozens of “literal” movie and game trailers, to try his hand at the trailer for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the next expansion of the game, scheduled for release on December 7th. Just to further inflame the Microsoft/Nintendo fan-battle, this fun little video appears on YouTube a few days back featuring a team of classic Nintendo charaters fighting a Final Fantasy style battle, SNES-style, against a massive “firewall,” that’s closing in on them. It just so happens the “firewall” looks like an XBox 360. Some people head out to charity kitchens for Thanksgiving to feed people who are less fortunate than themselves. Some people head to visit their families for big dinners with relatives they’re marginally comfortable with. And as this video, approaching 700,000 views, shows us, some people buy a ridiculous amount of meat, and stuff a bird inside of a bird inside of a bird inside of a bird inside of a pig, all wrapped up in bacon and glazed with Dr. Pepper. Yum. The Pacific Northwest got some serious snow this Thanksgiving, and there’s nothing more fun to watch in the depth of winter than people who really shouldn’t be out driving sliding around on the roads. Don’t worry kids, no one was harmed in the making of this video, which has now managed to rack up over 1.6 million views on YouTube.
